This correlation seems to be the most pronounced in the western direction where the temperature drops from about 10keV in the annulus spanning 35'-41' to only 1.7keV in the annulus spanning 50'-60'. The Planck Collaboration found a marked local steepening of the radial gradient of the SZ signal at this location and interpret this feature as a shock with a Mach number of about 2. Unfortunately, we currently lack X-ray coverage towards the W in this critical range of 41'-50'. We therefore propose two additional pointings with a total exposure time of 30ks, that will allow us to resolve the temperature gradient in this region. | EXTRAGALACTIC DIFFUSE SOURCES | 8 | B | AURORA SIMIONESCU | USA | 8 | AO8 | THE MISSING PUZZLE PIECE IN THE COMA SHOCK FRONT | XIS | Y | https://data.darts.isas.jaxa.jp/pub/suzaku/ver3.0/808090010/ | Quick Look |
