DARTS/Astro Query System

Overview

Description

DARTS/Astro Query System is a tool that enables cross-searching of various astronomical observation data, observation logs, and observation proposals (proposals) archived in DARTS.

Main Features:

  • Allows searching of various astronomical observation data, observation logs, and observation proposals (proposals) archived in DARTS using the following three methods:
    • Basic search: Circular search. Specify a target or central coordinates and a radius to cross-search various datasets.
    • SQL search: Search specific datasets by freely entering SQL queries.
    • ADQL search: Search specific datasets by freely entering ADQL queries.
  • Enables access to data from the search results.
  • Allows downloading of the search result list.
  • Enables sharing of the search result URL as a permalink.

How to use

How to Use Basic Search

Access the circular search (Basic Search), specify the target you want to search for (target name or coordinates) and the search radius, then press the โ€œSEARCHโ€ button.

By opening โ€œShow more options,โ€ you can select the data type, observation wavelength, satellite, and each product.
Also, if you select csv in Format and execute โ€œSEARCH,โ€ you can download the search result list in CSV format.

For more detailed usage, please refer to How to use โ€œBasic Searchโ€ page.
