Overview

Description

JUDO2 is a virtual celestial globe that displays space observation data captured at various wavelengths on a celestial sphere.

Main Features:

  • Overlay the following on the celestial sphere:
    • Observation images (on top layer, bottom layer, specify one each)
    • Field of View (FOV) (on graphic layer, multiple FOVs can be specified)
    • Celestial object catalogs (on graphic layer, multiple catalogs can be specified)
  • Adjustable transparency for the top and graphic layers
  • Access observation data from a list of observation IDs that appear in sync with the field of view

How to use

There are two main ways to access this:

  1. Access URL1 and select the observation images, catalog, observation view (FOV), etc. you want to display. For more detailed usage, please refer to User Guide.
  2. Edit the parameters of URL2 to access it.

URL parameter

  • center_lat, center_lng: Specify the center coordinates to display. Example: 35.6895, 139.6917

  • zoom: Zoom ratio. -2 (farthest away) ~ The larger the number, the closer it gets.

  • coord: coordinate system. galactic or J2000

  • selectedLayer: Specify the graphic (field of view or catalog) to be overlaid on the observation image. Multiple (any number) can be specified, separated by commas.
